HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Our ATTITUDE is not determined by the circumstances, but by how we respond to circumstances. Our minds determine our ATTITUDE. We can respond positively or negatively. It’s how we react to events, not the events themselves that determines our attitude.

-The Best of Success

Whether you sell, lead a sales team or run an organization, the most important aspect of your life and your career is your ATTITUDE. Your ATTITUDE will determine your success. Your positive ATTITUDE along with enthusiasm is your passion. Your passion for what you do and what you stand for will allow you to overcome any obstacles and barriers placed to trap you or stop you from obtaining your goal. Our profession is very rewarding; financially and personally, but it is very challenging and competitive. That is why those who choose to do what we do always need that competitive edge to create the need, want and desire from those we come in contact with about ourselves and what we represent.

Your success depends on your ATTITUDE, how you look at things and situations. It is one of the few things no one can take away. Sure, things are going to get you down, you’re going to have setbacks and you’re going to have some tough times. Your customers and clients are going to be difficult and your team members will go through slumps. Your personal life may throw some curves at you as well, but it will be how you handle adversity and how you see yourself in that adversity that will determine the outcome.

Eleanor Roosevelt said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

If you have poor self esteem or don’t feel you’re up to the task at hand, you won’t be successful, but if you prepare yourself for what is before you, you will succeed.
If you doubt yourself and your abilities, you will not be able to lead your team through this tough economic crisis, but if you concentrate and plan for the finding opportunities, you will succeed.
Mike Todd was quoted, “I’ve never been poor, only broke. Being poor is a frame of mind. Being broke is only a temporary situation.”

HERE’S MY POINT!

Folks, it is easy to tell yourself, “It’s too hard” or “I don’t have what it takes.” The truth is it depends how you look at it. “It’s not the situation….It’s your reaction to the situation.” You can’t always control circumstances, but you can control your thoughts. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Make sure everyday, you start your day with the frame of mind to be positive, you are going to overcome any obstacles, you are going to complete all your tasks, and no matter how difficult or arduous it is, you are going to keep a positive ATTITUDE.
When you develop a positive ATTITUDE, I believe you are going to experience SUCCESSNOW!
