BELIEF is the knowledge that we can do something. It’s the inner feeling that we undertake, we can accomplish. For the most part, all of us have the ability to look at something and know whether or not if we can do it. So in belief there is power: our eyes are opened; our opportunities become plain; our visions become realities.

The first BELIEF is belief in ones self. Henry Ford said “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.” And Michael Korda said “In order to succeed, we must first believe we can.”
Joyce Brothers said, “Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking yourself as a success.” Richard M. DeVos is quoted as saying “There is one thing that stands between a man and what he wants from life. It is often the will to try and the faith to believe that it is possible.”
1. BELIEF in yourself 2. BELIEF in your product or what you do 3. BELIEF others have in you.
BELIEF follows right on the heels of ATTITUDE because they work closely together. Self confidence, or BELIEF, is acquired through experience or with mental aptitude to overcome each and every doubt that enters the mind that says “I can’t do it” or “it can’t be done.”
BELIEF and ATTITUDE allow you to begin any task.
An old Chinese proverb states “The journey of a thousand miles begins with just one step.”

Mary Kay said “When I believe in something, I sell it, and I sell it hard.”
If you BELIEVE in something, you will have a positive attitude on that product or subject. If you are representing a product, the more the product lines up with its claims, the more confident and persuasive you will be about the product simply because you BELIEVE.
If you have a positive attitude about a venture, you will be confident about that undertaking, and you will BELIEVE you can achieve or attain that endeavor simply because you BELIEVE. It will show in your walk, in your talk, and in your nonverbal communication.
It is very difficult to get others to BELIEVE, when you yourself fail to BELIEVE.
The third BELIEF is the BELIEF others place in you. People you are going to influence must BELIEVE in you. It is difficult to have a following when you are leading doubters. It is impossible to close the deal when clients and customers don’t BELIEVE you. Whether you are selling or providing a service, leading an organization or coaching an individual, your relationships must see you as a credible person with integrity and confidence in yourself and what you represent.

I encourage you to line up these three applications in your repertoire;
1. BELIEF in yourself 2. BELIEF in your product or what you do 3. BELIEF others have in you.
When you get this strategy of BELIEF, I believe you are going to experience SUCCESSNOW!
